Teaching for Understanding with Technology

Personal Learning Network 
To prove how useful and knowledgeable a Personal Network can be, I was required to create my own PLN on Twitter and use only online resources (Twitter, blogs, YouTube, help forums) to learn something new. I learned all about my school's new learning management system, Canvas, set up my classes, and made a whole module. Read about the journey here.

Adapting Innovative Technologies in Education

Maker Faire
We brought the Maker Movement to MSU! My classmates and I held a Maker Faire at the MSU library. There were various activities for visitors. My group used the MakeyMakey kits to play arcade games on the computer. Participants needed to choose their "controllers" from various materials: banana, spoon, apple, ladle, etc. Read all about the Maker Faire here.

UDL Lesson Plan
The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) lesson plan was one lesson plan, revised five times in order to meet the needs of all students. Read the final revisions in my blog.

Applying Educational Technology to Issues of Practice

Wicked Problem 
A Wicked Problem is a major problem in schools with no clean answer. My group looked into the Wicked Problem, "Reinvent what it means to teach, and reinvent everything about teaching." Read my blog post and visit our Blendspace to see our solution.
